Something about Vinyl chloride

M

Vinyl chloride is a colorless gas with a sweet odor that is used to make a variety of products, including pipes, wire coatings, and automotive parts. It is also used to make the polymer polyvinyl chloride (PVC), which is commonly used in construction materials such as pipes, flooring, and siding.

Exposure to vinyl chloride can be harmful to human health. Acute exposure to high levels of vinyl chloride can cause dizziness, headache, and in severe cases, unconsciousness or death. Long-term exposure to lower levels of vinyl chloride can increase the risk of liver damage, cancer, and other health problems.
